NBA Street Vol. 2 is an arcade-style street basketball game developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports BIG, released in 2003 for PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and Xbox — the first entry in the series to appear on Microsoft's console. A sequel to the original NBA Street, it blends professional NBA talent with the exaggerated, high-flying style of outdoor playground basketball. Players compete in streetball matchups that emphasize trick moves, flashy dunks, and momentum-driven gameplay rather than the simulation approach of traditional basketball titles. The game retains the urban aesthetic and pick-up game sensibility that defined its predecessor while expanding the roster and court options. Japan received only the PlayStation 2 version; a planned GameCube release for that region was ultimately cancelled. The title stands as one of the defining arcade sports games of the early 2000s console generation.
