Pandora's Tower is an action role-playing game developed by Nintendo SPD Production Group No. 2, released in 2011 for the Wii and later available on Wii U. The game follows Aeron, who must explore thirteen towers to lift a curse that is slowly transforming a young woman named Elena into a monstrous creature. Armed with a magical sword and chain, Aeron fights through each tower to reach and defeat its master beast, extracting "Master Flesh" — the only substance capable of permanently reversing the curse. Ordinary beast flesh gathered along the way provides temporary relief, requiring players to periodically leave the towers and return to Elena. A on-screen meter tracks the curse's progression, creating a persistent time pressure that demands efficient navigation, strategic use of shortcuts, and careful management of resources across all thirteen towers.
