Paper Mario: Sticker Star is a puzzle-RPG adventure developed by Vanpool and released in 2012 for the Nintendo 3DS. The story takes place in Decalburg, where Bowser disrupts the Sticker Fest by shattering the Sticker Comet, scattering Royal Stickers and comet fragments across the world. Mario, accompanied by an ally named Kersti, must recover these scattered pieces to restore order. Gameplay revolves around collecting stickers and items throughout colorful three-dimensional environments, then deploying them in combat and puzzle-solving contexts. The sticker mechanic forms the core of the battle system, replacing traditional RPG resource management with a collection-based approach.
