Persona 4: Dancing All Night is a rhythm game developed by Atlus and released in 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, serving as a spin-off continuation of the cult RPG Persona 4. The game trades the original's turn-based combat for dance battles, in which players tap along to remixed versions of familiar Persona 4 tracks alongside newly composed music. The narrative picks up after the events of Persona 4, following idol Rise Kujikawa as she returns to the entertainment industry. When members of her junior idol group Kanamin Kitchen go missing after a mysterious video circulates online, the Investigation Team launches a rescue effort — only to find themselves back in the Midnight Channel facing familiar Shadow enemies. With their Persona abilities neutralized, the team must defeat these threats through dance rather than conventional combat, tying the mechanical core of the game directly to its story progression.
