Released in 2009 by Pyro Studios for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Planet 51: The Game is a platform, racing, and adventure title based on the animated film of the same name. The game follows three playable characters — Lem, a young green alien; Chuck Baker, a stranded astronaut; and R.O.V.E.R., a mechanical probe — as they work together to return Chuck to Earth. Structured across three acts and 40 missions, gameplay involves a sandbox-style open environment where tasks range from racing and vehicle combat to transporting goods and locating hidden collectibles. Players can earn achievements and unlockable rewards by completing missions within time limits, avoiding vehicle damage, collecting secret comic pages, and performing jumps through billboards.
