Pokémon Art Academy is a drawing and painting simulator developed by Headstrong Games, released in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS. A Pokémon-themed entry in the Art Academy series, it offers 40 structured lessons that guide players through sketching, painting, and drawing Pokémon characters in 2D, including Pikachu, Charizard, Oshawott, Torchic, Fletchling, and Fennekin. Lessons are broken into step-by-step stages led by an in-game tutor, progressively introducing techniques intended to be accessible to players of all ages and skill levels. The game makes use of the handheld's touch screen, with the stylus simulating a range of art materials such as paints, pencils, and pastels that behave with a degree of realism.
