Pokémon Quest is a free-to-start action RPG developed by Game Freak, released in 2018 for Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. Set on Tumblecube Island, a world where all inhabitants and environments take on a blocky, cube-shaped aesthetic, the game centers on exploring procedurally structured stages, uncovering hidden treasures, and recruiting cube-rendered Pokémon as companions. Players build a team of up to three Pokémon and send them on expeditions across the island, with combat playing out automatically in real time. Between expeditions, a base camp serves as a hub where cooking meals attracts new Pokémon to join the team, adding a light resource-management layer to the experience.
