Released in 2011 by Blitz Games for PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360, Puss in Boots is an action-adventure game set before the events of Shrek 2. The story follows the iconic feline outlaw as he works to clear his name after becoming a wanted fugitive. During an attempt to steal magic beans from the criminals Jack and Jill, Puss encounters the skilled thief Kitty Softpaws, who introduces him to his former friend Humpty Dumpty. Despite a complicated history of friendship and betrayal between the two, Puss agrees to join forces with Humpty and Kitty. The trio's plan involves stealing the magic beans, journeying to a giant's castle, and making off with a golden goose — all while working toward exonerating Puss from the charges that have kept him on the run.
