Shinobido: Tales of the Ninja is an action-adventure game developed by ACQUIRE Corp., released in 2006 for the PlayStation Portable. A sequel to Shinobido: Way of the Ninja, it continues the series' focus on ninja gameplay and was itself followed by Shinobido 2: Tales of the Ninja. A North American localization was planned under the title Shinobido Homura: Soul of the Ninja but was ultimately cancelled before release, leaving the game without an official Western release. The title occupies the middle entry in the Shinobido series, bridging the original console release and its successor, and represents ACQUIRE Corp.'s continued development of the franchise on handheld hardware.
