Skeleton Warriors is a 2D side-scrolling platformer developed by Neversoft Entertainment and released in 1995 for the Sega Saturn and PlayStation. Players take the role of Prince Lightstar, who must battle through approximately 21 levels of demonic enemies to defeat Baron Dark and reclaim the Lightstar Crystal. Gameplay involves combat against roughly 100 distinct enemy types using various weapons, as well as sequences aboard a skybike. The visuals employ 3D pre-rendered graphics within the side-scrolling framework, and the narrative is advanced through 3D rendered cutscenes placed between certain levels. The game features an original soundtrack composed by Tommy Tallarico.
