Skylanders: Imaginators is a platform action-RPG developed by Toys for Bob, released in 2016 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game centers on a conflict with the series antagonist Kaos, who has gained access to an ancient ability called Mind Magic and is using it to build an army of creatures known as Doomlanders. To counter this threat, players work alongside a new class of powerful warriors called Senseis, each commanding a unique Sky-Chi ability. A central mechanic involves Imaginite Creation Crystals, physical toys that allow players to design and customize their own Skylander characters, choosing from ten distinct Battle Classes. These created characters, called Imaginators, fight alongside the Sensei figures in combat. The game also features side quests and minigames beyond the main campaign. A Nintendo Switch version later added portable play and a Digital Library for accessing toy collections without physical figures.
