Snowboard Kids is a racing and sports title developed by Racdym for the Nintendo 64, released in 1997. The game frames its competition around a group of young snowboarders settling an argument over who has the best skills through a tournament. A character named Shinobin remains absent from the roster until unlocked through gameplay. Beyond standard racing mechanics, the game incorporates a combat layer through collectible "Shots" — offensive weapons — alongside support items such as rocks or invisibility. A dual item slot system lets each racer hold one of each type simultaneously. Acquiring items during a race costs 100 gold, earned by performing tricks or picking up coins on the course. Nine courses span a range of settings, from snowy mountains to an amusement park, desert, highway, and a Japanese village during cherry blossom season. All courses are structured as multi-lap downhill runs, with players riding a lift back to the top between laps, during which they are shielded from attacks.
