Songs of Conquest is a turn-based strategy RPG developed by Coffee Stain Studios, released in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Mac, iOS, and Android. Set in the world of Aerbor, players command powerful spellcasters called Wielders, leading armies across diverse biomes while gathering resources, expanding territory, and collecting artifacts. Kingdom management involves constructing towns, researching advancements, and recruiting troops from four distinct factions — the knightly Arleon, swamp-dwelling Rana, necromantic Loth, and mercantile Barya — each with unique units and playstyles. Combat is tactically layered, combining troop abilities with spell systems that scale based on army composition, including siege battles. The game offers four story campaigns, each accompanied by a choral narrative song that unlocks progressively, alongside handcrafted and procedurally generated maps. Most content supports single-player, cooperative, and competitive multiplayer via online or local hotseat.
