Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2 is a tactical strategy RPG developed by Banpresto and released in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance. A direct sequel to the first Original Generation title, it picks up after a devastating war against an alien force, with Earth barely beginning to recover before a new threat emerges to challenge humanity's survival. Players command a roster of mech pilots across turn-based tactical battles, managing unit positioning, weapon selection, and pilot abilities to overcome increasingly dangerous enemies. The game features multiple branching story paths, extending the campaign to over 50 hours of gameplay. It introduces new allied and enemy characters alongside additional mecha units, and presents enhanced combat animations that depict attacks with greater visual intensity than its predecessor.
