The Alliance Alive is a Japanese RPG developed by Cattle Call for the Nintendo 3DS, released in 2017 by the team behind Legend of Legacy. Set in a world divided by a Great Barrier erected by a race of beings called Daemons roughly a thousand years prior, the game follows nine distinct characters living under Daemon rule. Each protagonist carries their own perspective on the long-standing tension between oppressors and the oppressed, and their separate storylines gradually converge as their paths cross. The narrative explores themes of conflict and reconciliation within a society shaped by a millennium of subjugation. As a traditional JRPG, the game centers on exploration, story progression, and the unfolding relationships among its ensemble cast as they reckon with the possibility of overturning an entrenched order.
