Too Human is an action RPG developed by Silicon Knights, released in 2008 exclusively for the Xbox 360. Players control Baldur, a cybernetically enhanced Norse god engaged in a large-scale conflict against waves of hostile war machines threatening humanity's survival. The game blends hack-and-slash combat with shooter mechanics and role-playing progression, drawing on Norse mythology reimagined through a science-fiction lens in which the gods have been augmented with technology. The central conflict pits Baldur against an ancient mechanical force that has compelled divine intervention to prevent the annihilation of humankind. Combat involves battling large numbers of machine enemies across the game's environments, while RPG elements allow players to develop Baldur's abilities and equipment over the course of the campaign. The game supports cooperative multiplayer alongside its single-player mode.
In the hands of one god rest the fate of all mankind. Machines threaten to eliminate mankind. Only Baldur, a cybernetically enhanced super warrior stands in the way. Revered as a god by those he protects, Baldur must mount a fearsome and unrelenting assault in an epic showdown of heroism, fate and might.
