Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions is an arcade racing action game developed by Bunkasha and released in 2002 for Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and PlayStation 2. Set in Hong Kong, the game places players in the middle of a conflict with the local Yakuza, led by a crime boss named Tiger Takagi. Two narrative paths are available: commanding an elite police unit known as the Dragons, or taking on the role of a pair of spies hired to bring Takagi down. Across 40 missions, gameplay centers on vehicle-based combat and maneuvering through destructible urban environments. Players engage enemies using car-mounted rocket launchers, and the game features real-time crash physics and vehicle deformation. The dual-campaign structure gives the title some replay value, while its emphasis on spectacle and destruction over simulation places it firmly in the arcade tradition.
