Baja: Edge of Control is an off-road racing game developed by 2XL Games, released in 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Inspired by the real-world Baja 1000 desert race, the game features more than 95 tracks spanning a variety of course lengths and formats. The track roster includes three Baja 250 courses, two Baja 500 courses, and one full Baja 1000 course, offering a progression through increasingly demanding endurance events. The game launched in North America on September 22, 2008, followed by a European release on September 26, 2008.
