FIFA 15 is a football simulation developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts, released in 2014 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It marked a significant milestone for the long-running FIFA series as the first entry built natively for those then-current generation consoles, powered by the new Ignite game engine. The shift to this engine enabled technical improvements across the game's presentation and on-pitch systems, taking advantage of the increased hardware capabilities of both platforms.
