FIFA Soccer 09 All-Play is a 2008 sports title developed by Sumo Digital for the Wii, serving as that platform's edition of FIFA 09 and part of EA's Wii-exclusive All-Play series. The game includes 500 licensed teams and several modes tailored specifically to the platform. The namesake All-Play mode simplifies participation by having the CPU handle player movement while the user focuses solely on button presses and Wii Remote gestures, bypassing the Nunchuk entirely. Footii Mode replaces standard squads with eight-player teams whose characters are styled after Wii Miis, with Mii likenesses of players such as Ronaldinho and Rooney serving as team captains. Table Football presents a top-down tabletop game with 13 figures per side and unconventional balls, including one that turns invisible after being kicked. Boot It is a simultaneous shooting drill playable as either a shooter or goalkeeper. Support for the GameCube Controller and Classic Controller was added in this installment, offering a more conventional control option, and Manager mode features a Wii-specific interface.
