Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon is a roguelike RPG developed by h.a.n.d. Inc. and released for the Wii in 2007. The game centers on Chocobo, the iconic yellow bird of the Final Fantasy series, navigating randomly generated dungeons in search of memories stolen from the residents of a mysterious town connected to a boy named Raffaello. Restoring those memories gradually brings the townspeople back to their senses. Combat is turn-based, and Chocobo can adopt any of ten job classes — including knight and white mage — each granting distinct abilities. Between dungeon runs, players visit town shops for items and equipment. Additional content includes hidden dungeons and job classes unlocked through collectible letters, online card duels via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and motion-controlled mini-games such as fishing, gardening, and darts accessible from the Mog House. The game features character artwork by Toshiyuki Itahana, known for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.
