Floppy Knights is a turn-based tactical card game developed by Rose City Games, released in 2022 for PC, Mac, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game follows Phoebe, a young inventor, and her robot arm companion Carlton as they deploy Floppy Knights — creatures summoned from floppy disks — across grid-based battlefields. Gameplay centers on building and refining decks, then using card combinations to outmaneuver opponents in turn-based skirmishes. Three distinct factions offer different strategic approaches: a Plants deck focused on terrain control and healing, a Monsters deck that trades health for buffs and armor, and a Hooligans deck built around speed and poison. Each unit generates its own special cards mid-battle, adding further tactical variety. The hand-drawn art by Marlowe Dobbe depicts environments ranging from volcanic terrain to icy caves, while a retro-flavored soundtrack by Grahm Nesbitt accompanies the action.
