Grand Slam Tennis is a sports title developed by EA Canada and released in 2009 exclusively for the Wii. The game features a roster of 23 tennis players divided between 14 active competitors and 9 retired legends from the sport's history. Active players include Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, and Novak Djokovic, while the legends roster spans figures such as Pete Sampras, John McEnroe, Björn Borg, Martina Navratilova, and Chris Evert. A Create-A-Player mode allows up to nine custom athletes to be built and used across all game modes, with options to adjust physical appearance, clothing brands, racquet styles, and accessories. Pat Cash serves as the on-court commentator throughout the game, including in matches where he appears as a playable character. The title makes use of the Wii's motion controls to simulate tennis gameplay across the sport's major tournaments.
