Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is a third-person action shooter developed by Electronic Arts, released in 2010 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PC. Based on the film of the same name, the game follows Harry Potter as he pursues the Horcruxes — the objects tied to Voldemort's immortality. The gameplay centers on combat using spells in a manner broadly comparable to a conventional shooter, marking a deliberate shift away from the potion-brewing, Quidditch, and open Hogwarts exploration found in earlier entries in the series. Unlike several of its predecessors, the game contains no RPG elements, instead maintaining a more linear, action-focused structure throughout. Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger must venture out into the Wizarding World on their own to destroy Lord Voldemort's remaining Horcruxes. On their journey, they will encounter numerous dangers including Death Eaters, Snatchers, and so much more. Luckily for the trio, they may pick up on a few spells and potions on their way. Even so, nowhere is safe...no one can be trusted...the battle has begun.
