Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a top-down action-adventure game developed by Magic Pockets and released in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance. Based on the events of the fourth book and film, players control Harry, Ron, and Hermione across a series of scenarios that involve defeating enemies and solving puzzles through spellcasting. Two distinct casting mechanics are available: one button fires targeted ranged spells such as Confoundus, while another executes stream spells like Wingardium Leviosa, which can be aimed using the directional pad. Players can also summon their companions to boost the power of magical attacks. The Nintendo DS version of the game includes an additional minigame centered on caring for a Niffler, a magical creature that responds to feeding, cleaning, and play in a manner resembling a simplified virtual pet simulation.
