Madagascar Kartz is a kart racing game developed by Sidhe Interactive, released in 2009 for PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. Based on DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar franchise, it features a roster drawn from several DreamWorks properties, including Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, King Julien, the four penguins, and the chimpanzees Mason and Phil, alongside crossover characters Shrek and B.O.B. from Monsters vs. Aliens. Tracks are designed around locations from the Madagascar series, and most include two shortcuts. Players can perform jumps, flips, and rolls during races. Available modes include Quick Race, Championship, Time Trial, and Checkpoint Race. Championship mode tasks players with collecting mangoes and finishing first to unlock higher speed classes — 50cc through 200cc, with the last class run in mirror mode — as well as additional karts and tracks. The Wii version was bundled with a dedicated Madagascar Kartz Wheel peripheral.
