Mario Sports Mix

Mario Sports Mix is a sports compilation developed by Nintendo SPD Production Group No. 4 and released in 2010 for the Wii, later available on Wii U. The game brings together four distinct sports — volleyball, hockey, dodgeball, and basketball — continuing the collaborative spirit of the earlier Mario Hoops 3 on 3. Matches incorporate power-up items that grant temporary advantages to whichever team collects them. Each sport offers an Exhibition mode supporting up to four players in standalone matches, as well as a Tournament mode for up to three players, with difficulty tiers labeled Mushroom, Flower, and Star. The package also includes four party game variants derived from the core sports: Smash Skate draws from hockey, Bob-omb Dodge from dodgeball, Feed Petey from basketball, and Harmony Hustle from volleyball, expanding the overall experience beyond straightforward competitive play.
