NASCAR 07 is a stock car racing simulator developed by EA Orlando and released in September 2006 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PlayStation Portable — the latter version carrying the simplified title NASCAR. The tenth entry in EA Sports' long-running NASCAR series, it holds the distinction of being the final installment released exclusively on sixth-generation hardware. The game carries over the teammate mechanics introduced in its predecessor, NASCAR 06: Total Team Control, without introducing major new gameplay systems. Notable refinements include a motion-blur effect intended to better convey high-speed racing, along with a generally faster gameplay tempo compared to earlier entries. Elliott Sadler's #38 M&M's Ford Fusion appears on the NTSC cover, while the PAL release features Matt Kenseth's #17 DeWalt Ford Fusion. It is also only the second EA Sports NASCAR title to appear on a handheld platform.
