About

New Super Luigi U is a 2013 Wii U platformer developed by Nintendo EAD Software Development Group No. 4, originally released as downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros. U before becoming available as a standalone title. The game places Luigi as the central character across more than 80 newly designed courses set within the New Super Mario Bros. U world. Luigi handles differently from Mario, featuring higher and longer jumps alongside a distinctive sliding movement. Each course imposes a strict 100-second time limit, raising the difficulty and encouraging precise play. Up to five players can participate simultaneously, with Nabbit available as a playable character who is immune to enemies and obstacles. Miiverse integration allows players to share course completions with the community. Controller support includes the Wii U GamePad, Wii Remote, and Wii U Pro Controller.
