Pokémon Brilliant Diamond is a role-playing adventure developed by ILCA and released in 2021 for the Nintendo Switch. A faithful reimagining of the original Pokémon Diamond Version, it returns players to the Sinnoh region — a landscape defined by dense nature and the towering Mount Coronet, a place steeped in ancient myths and legends. At the outset, players select one of three starter Pokémon — Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup — before embarking on a turn-based journey to earn enough badges and victories to claim the title of Pokémon League Champion. The adventure unfolds across Sinnoh's towns, routes, and wild areas, with encounters against numerous Pokémon along the way, including the Legendary Dialga. The game preserves the structure and narrative of the original while updating its presentation for modern hardware.
