Pokémon White Version 2 is a role-playing game developed by Game Freak and released for the Nintendo DS in 2012. A direct sequel to Pokémon White, it is one of two paired titles concluding the fifth generation of the main Pokémon series, alongside Pokémon Black Version 2. Players travel through the Unova region, capturing and training Pokémon and engaging in turn-based battles to progress through the story. The game introduces White Kyurem, a new legendary form serving as the version mascot, distinct from the Black Kyurem featured in its counterpart. As a sequel rather than a remake or alternate version, the title continues and expands on the narrative established in the original Pokémon Black and White games, offering a fresh storyline set in the same region. The title launched in North America on October 7, 2012, following its Japanese release in June of that year.
