Samurai Shodown Sen is a 3D weapons-based fighting game developed by K2 and released in 2009 exclusively for Xbox 360. The story centers on Princess Suzu, a young European woman rescued from a shipwreck off the Japanese coast and raised by the Amori Clan, whose mysterious disappearance sets the events in motion. Takechiyo, a martial artist whose own ship sank near the same shores and whom Suzu had saved, sets out to find her after she vanishes. The roster draws from both the new narrative and the broader Samurai Shodown legacy, featuring series veterans such as Haohmaru, Galford, Hanzo Hattori, Nakoruru, and Ukyo Tachibana alongside the new characters, bringing the total fighter count to over twenty. Xbox Live online multiplayer allows players to compete against others globally and climb a worldwide ranking system.
