Throes of the Watchmaker is a downloadable expansion for Sabotage's turn-based RPG Sea of Stars, released in 2025 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The add-on sends returning protagonists Valere and Zale — the Solstice Warriors who wield Sun and Moon magic — into Horloge, a miniature clockwork realm distinct from the settings of the base game. Within this self-contained mechanical world, a cursed carnival poses a threat to its inhabitants, and the duo must contend with rules and conditions unlike those they are accustomed to, requiring them to adapt before their solar and lunar abilities can function as expected. The expansion continues the adventure and turn-based combat framework established in the original game while introducing a new environment with its own internal logic and narrative stakes.
