Skylanders: SuperChargers is an action-adventure platformer developed by Vicarious Visions and released in 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U. Set in the world of Skylands, the game centers on a crisis triggered by Kaos, whose Doomstation of Ultimate Doomstruction threatens to destroy everything. To counter this threat, an elite squad known as the SuperChargers mobilizes a fleet of vehicles to traverse land, sea, and sky. Gameplay blends platforming, hack-and-slash combat, light role-playing progression, and dedicated racing segments tied to the vehicle mechanics. Like other entries in the Skylanders series, it incorporates the Portal of Power toy-to-life peripheral, and the experience can be expanded through a collection of more than 40 figures and vehicles. SuperCharger characters are paired with corresponding vehicles, unlocking enhanced abilities when matched together.
