Star Trek: Conquest is a turn-based strategy game developed by 4J Studios and released in 2007 for the Wii and PlayStation 2. Set during a period of galactic conflict in which traditional alliances have collapsed and diplomacy has given way to open warfare, the game places players in command of one of the major Star Trek races competing for dominance across the galaxy. Powerful fleets engage indigenous forces and rival factions alike as each faction works to extend its territorial control. The premise draws on the established Star Trek universe while framing its conflict as a large-scale contest for galactic supremacy, with competing civilizations maneuvering their forces across star systems in pursuit of total domination.
