Star Trek: Legacy is a real-time strategy and space combat simulator developed by Mad Doc Software and released in 2006 for PC and Xbox 360. Players take the role of a Starfleet Admiral commanding a task force of warships across a campaign that spans the full breadth of Star Trek history, moving through the eras of Enterprise, The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager. Connecting these periods is a new antagonist capable of traveling through time, whose threat unifies the otherwise distinct settings into a single overarching conflict. Outside the campaign, the game includes full multiplayer support with match types ranging from small-scale skirmishes to large engagements spanning multiple star systems. A stat-tracking and player-ranking system accompanies the multiplayer component, providing a record of competitive performance across sessions.
