About

Tales of the Abyss is a role-playing game developed by Namco Tales Studio, released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2011. The game follows Luke fon Fabre, the sole heir to the Kimlasca-Lanvaldear throne, whose childhood kidnapping by a rival kingdom left him without any memories of his early life. Confined to his family's manor ever since, he remains isolated and unaware of a growing threat closing in around him. The story unfolds across Auldrant, a world governed by an ancient prophetic doctrine called the Score, as Luke joins a party of adventurers navigating its political and mystical dangers. This version of the game was adapted specifically for the 3DS hardware, taking advantage of the system's dual-screen layout and stereoscopic 3D visuals to deliver a handheld presentation distinct from earlier releases of the title.
