UEFA Champions League 2004-2005 is a football simulation released in 2005 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC. The game centers on "The Season" mode, in which the player creates a managerial avatar and works through 50 missions spanning a full campaign. The sequence begins with a tight relegation-zone battle for a Champions League qualification spot, then escalates through a club buyout and rising expectations, ideally culminating in the Champions League final. Club president objectives appear throughout, some tied to critical fixtures where failure can result in dismissal; others involve squad management decisions. Completing these objectives unlocks additional content such as balls, a stadium, and special exhibition modes. A dedicated Champions League mode tasks players with guiding a single club to the final at Istanbul's Atatürk Olympic Stadium, chasing the title held by FC Porto. Additional modes cover standard friendlies, two-legged home-and-away ties, customizable scenarios, and practice sessions.
