Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec

Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec is a racing simulator developed by Polyphony Digital and released for PlayStation 2 in 2001, following more than two years of development. The game features over 150 cars, each rendered with more than 4,000 polygons, and a structured career mode spanning 60 championship events across beginner, amateur, and professional tiers, supplemented by ten endurance races and ten rally races. Visual enhancements include sun glare, heat distortion, and reflections, while a replay mode employs TV-style camera angles. The licensed soundtrack contains more than 20 tracks. Multiplayer support accommodates two players via split-screen or up to six through linked systems using i.LINK connectivity. The combination of detailed car modeling, a broad race structure, and refined presentation established the title as a significant entry in the long-running Gran Turismo series.
