Released in 2016 by Blizzard Entertainment, One Night in Karazhan is the fourth adventure expansion for Hearthstone, available on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. Set in the legendary tower of Karazhan during the heyday of a young Medivh — Guardian of Azeroth — the expansion frames its content around a grand party gone wrong. Medivh goes missing, and the tower's magical enchantments spiral out of control, transforming festive illusions into dangerous threats. The adventure is structured across four purchasable wings plus a free introductory encounter, presenting 13 bosses in total. A Heroic difficulty mode offers a stiffer challenge, and nine Class Challenges provide additional tactical tests. Completing the content unlocks 45 new collectible cards, expanding deck-building options across Hearthstone's card pool. The expansion also introduces a new battlefield and two new card backs, rounding out its cosmetic additions.
