Pokémon X is a role-playing adventure developed by Game Freak and released in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS. The game represents a new generation of the long-running Pokémon series, introducing a roster of previously unseen Pokémon alongside a fully realized 3D world, marking a significant visual departure from earlier entries in the franchise. Players explore this new region, capturing and training Pokémon while progressing through turn-based battles that have defined the series since its inception. As one of the first mainline Pokémon titles to make full use of three-dimensional graphics on the 3DS hardware, the game brought a renewed sense of depth and scale to environments and battle sequences alike. Pokémon X launched simultaneously worldwide alongside its counterpart, Pokémon Y, with each version offering distinct Pokémon exclusive to that release.
