Star Trek: Elite Force II is a first-person shooter developed by Ritual Entertainment and released in 2003 for PC and Mac. The game continues the story of Alexander Munro, commander of the Hazard Team, Starfleet's specialized security unit. Following a prologue set aboard the U.S.S. Voyager and a sequence at Starfleet Academy, Munro and his team receive their most demanding assignment: active duty on the Federation flagship, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701-E. From that posting, the game sends players across a range of alien environments, involving both newly encountered civilizations and ones familiar from the Star Trek universe. Alongside the core shooting gameplay, the title incorporates puzzle elements. The sequel builds on the foundation of its predecessor while placing the Hazard Team at the center of increasingly high-stakes missions described as among the most perilous in the galaxy.
