Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology is a role-playing game developed by Alfa System and released in 2006 for the PlayStation Portable. Set on the world of Terresia, the story centers on a custom protagonist created by the World Tree as a last-ditch defense against a destructive force known as the Devourer, which is draining the planet of its mana. The player character awakens alongside Mormo, a creature whose own world was already destroyed by this same threat, and the two quickly become entangled in the conflict. After rescuing a young woman named Kannono, they are introduced to Ad Libitum, a guild dedicated to protecting ordinary people from injustice. The player joins this organization as a base of operations, taking on missions while pursuing leads on the Devourer's whereabouts and uncovering the involvement of two mysterious figures, Widdershin and Aurora, in Terresia's decline.
