Dark Age of Camelot is a 3D medieval fantasy MMORPG developed by Mythic Entertainment and released in 2001 for Windows. Set in the turbulent era following King Arthur's death, the game draws on Arthurian legend, Norse mythology, and Irish Celtic folklore, blending them into a high-fantasy setting divided among three warring factions born from the fractured remnants of Arthur's kingdom. Persistent conflict between these realms forms the backbone of the experience, with Realm versus Realm combat placing large groups of players against one another across contested territories.
