Enchanted Arms is a turn-based role-playing game developed by FromSoftware, released in 2006 for Xbox 360 and later PlayStation 3. Set within a linear narrative, the game offers a partially open world to traverse and explore. Players control a party built around four main characters supplemented by more than 100 collectible creatures that can be recruited throughout the adventure. Combat takes place on a dual 3×4 grid system, with opposing sides facing each other across their respective squares. Each turn, characters move a limited number of spaces on the grid, and individual skills carry distinct area-of-effect patterns, introducing a layer of spatial strategy to encounters. The large roster of collectible creatures gives players considerable flexibility in assembling and customizing their party composition across the course of the game.
