Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is a 2002 platform and adventure game developed by Nintendo R&D2 for the Game Boy Advance, later made available on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. A remake of the original Super Nintendo title, it stars Yoshi and a group of dinosaur companions tasked with safely carrying Baby Mario and Baby Luigi through each stage. As the third entry in the four-part Super Mario Advance series, the game features updated graphics and audio along with additional content beyond what appeared in the SNES original. Like other entries in the series, it also includes Mario Bros., the arcade classic, as a bundled bonus. This mode supports multiplayer through the GBA link cable, allowing more than one player to participate. The Super Mario Advance series as a whole served as a vehicle for bringing NES and SNES-era Mario titles to the portable Game Boy Advance platform.
