DK: King of Swing is a platform-puzzle game developed by Paon, released in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance and later available on Wii U. The story centers on Donkey Kong's quest to recover a stolen medallion after King K. Rool disrupts a jungle ceremony meant to crown the king of the jungle. Along the way, Donkey Kong must also free Diddy, Dixie, and Funky Kong from K. Rool's minions. The game's defining feature is an unconventional control scheme built around swinging through trees and spinning to generate momentum for jumps. Level design blends platforming with puzzle-solving: players grab gears to crank open doors, while loose bolts add a timing challenge — spinning too long can send Donkey Kong plummeting. Navigating from the jungle floor to the treetops demands careful coordination and precision throughout.
