Link's Crossbow Training is a 2007 shooting-gallery game developed by Nintendo EAD Software Development Group No.3 for the Wii, released bundled with the Wii Zapper peripheral. Set in the world of Twilight Princess, it casts Link as the player character across 27 stages divided into three distinct formats. Target Shooting stages task players with hitting stationary or moving bull's-eyes, rewarding accuracy and consecutive hits with combo score multipliers. Defender stages place Link in fixed positions where he fends off waves of enemies — including Bokoblins and skeletons — with 360-degree aiming enabled by pointing the Zapper off-screen. Ranger stages allow free movement through environments such as forests and enemy encampments. All stages are scored against a time limit, and every stage supports a pass-and-play multiplayer mode for competitive high-score attempts. The Wii Zapper houses both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, with the control stick handling movement and trigger input firing the crossbow.
