NCAA Football 10 is a college football simulation developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports, released in July 2009 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 2. The fifteenth entry in EA's long-running NCAA Football series and the direct successor to NCAA Football 09, it centers on the collegiate game with its licensed teams, players, and traditions. Four cover athletes were featured across its promotional materials: quarterbacks Brian Johnson and Mark Sanchez, defensive end Brian Orakpo, and wide receiver Michael Crabtree. As a sports simulator, the game focuses on authentic recreation of college football gameplay, putting players in control of NCAA programs across a range of competitive modes typical of the franchise.
