NCAA March Madness 07 is a college basketball simulation published by EA Sports, released in 2007 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2. Part of a long-running series that ran from 1998 to 2009, the game replicates the structure and atmosphere of NCAA college basketball. Due to NCAA regulations prohibiting the use of student-athlete names, rosters identify players by number only, though the game includes many player surnames within its commentary track, and users have the option to manually edit rosters with correct names. Play-by-play commentary is handled by Brad Nessler and Gus Johnson, with analyst Dick Vitale contributing color commentary, lending the presentation a broadcast-style feel consistent with televised college basketball coverage. The series was eventually renamed NCAA College Basketball following 2K Sports' exit from the college basketball market, before EA discontinued the franchise entirely in 2010.
